Objectives

The
objectives of Unnayan Uddog are as follows: |

To
organize disadvantaged section, especially, the women and children
so that they could be empowered and worthy citizen;
· To create public awareness about child rights (UNCRC)
and eliminate child labour ensuring better future for them;
· To promote improved agricultural technology;
· To create self-employment through promoting rural industry;
· To conduct formal and non-formal education programme
to reduce the cult of illiteracy;
· To work for solving the housing problem;
· To undertake rehabilitation activities for old, disabled
and victims of natural calamities;
· To work for reducing population explosion;
· To undertake primary health care programme, reproductive
health care and HIV/AIDS;
· To promote awareness for creating social forestry in
order to protect environment;
· To provide legal support to the deprived section of
the society; and
· To undertake skills development training for human
resource development; and to undertake development research.
